Fira is the beautiful capital of the island, the biggest and most cosmopolitan settlement of Santorini. It is located in the western edge of the island, opposite the volcano.

All the staff were wonderful and accommodating. We had the Opal Suites and it was spacious and the views are incredible! We usually don’t wake up early enough for hotel breakfast but here, they deliver it to your room when you want it. Huge plus! The location was secluded enough that it was quiet but it’s walkable to everything! Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Worth the splurge!
My wife and I spent our Honeymoon at the Adamant suites this year. It was an unbelievable experience! Breathtaking views from our balcony, the room was clean, airy and very comfortable. The staff was so kind, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast overlooking the Caldera every morning, which was truly the best part of our visit. We ended every afternoon in the hot tub with a beautiful view of the sunset. The hotel and staff made our honeymoon very special and we plan on visiting as often as we can.
This hotel absolutely made our trip to Santorini. The hospitality was unmatched and helped with all our needs including setting up transfers, and breakfast was served to our balcony everyday. Views may be some of the best on the island. Located in the heart of Fira, just tucked away enough to give you privacy and feel secluded while still being a quick walk from all the action. Could not recommend more!
We stayed in the Emerald Suite last November for a few nights, and it was incredible! Don’t be peer pressured into thinking that Oia is the only village of Santorini worth staying in. The caldera views from here in Fira were breathtaking, the cave-style room was unique and comfortable (with a bottle of wine), the daily included breakfast was indulgent, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating - especially Olga, Sakis and Christina! Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable experience. P.S. This property is very close to the central Fira square (for restaurants, shops, etc) and the main bus station which is perfect for cheap, reliable transportation around the island and even to/from the airport if you don’t have too much luggage (between €2.00 and €3 per person for all one-way trips depending on the route, cash only but doesn’t have to be exact).
