Choose between a 45-minute or a 1-hour and 30-minute riding experience and enjoy every minute of it! The excursion will start from the peaceful village of Megalochori, located on the west side of the island. Megalochori remains a traditional village, keeping a simple and calm ambiance, as well as graphic architecture. Paved narrow streets, beautiful churches, squares in the middle of the village, as well as small fields and vineyards, create a beautiful setting! Ride on its stone-paved streets, pass through its local vineyards, and explore the whole village on your horse! You will see such amazing images that you will remember your ride forever!
The riding trail will lead you to the stunning Caldera of Santorini! Follow the path and admire the astounding view of the Volcano on the opposite side and the Aegean Sea. The two volcanic islands of Palaia Kameni and Nea Kameni in the middle of the sea, as well as the panoramic view of the whole island, are unique spectacles that will leave you speechless! Get a different perspective of the Caldera villages from the south part of the island, marvel at the small white-colored houses on the top of the huge cliffs, and get ready to take the most amazing photos of your holidays on Santorini island!
If you choose your ride in the afternoon, a magic moment awaits at the end of the tour, the breathtaking sunset of Santorini! Stop for a while and watch the beautiful colours of the sky and the course of the sun until you watch it disappear into the sea. It will be a precious sight!

We were able to get on the horse and take photos and pet the horses but that's it. We are not experienced riders and thought our horses would be guided along the way but the expectation was that we should know how to ride well and confidently. Ive done other tours and we were guided well. You need to highlight that those looking to do this must be able to ride a horse independently and confidently. As such we ended up walking around the area rather than horse riding.

A guide is always present to assist both our guests and the horses throughout the experience. However, regardless of riding experience, stability and comfort are key to a safe ride. During your visit, we noticed that you were not fully comfortable on the horse. To avoid any possible incidents and to protect both you and the horses, we felt it was safer to stop the riding portion and continue only with photos. This decision was made with your well-being in mind, as your comfort is always our priority. We’re genuinely sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations, and that you were not able to enjoy the horse riding as much as you had hoped. Incredible
Dimitri was great! So patient with me (I have never rode a horse before) and so informative. The scenery was absolutely amazing and I met a new friend Tony, a patient gentle horse; such a beautiful/handsome boy!! I would recommend this experience to everyone! Very accommodating to our plans which changed at the last minute. Wonderful people!
