Starting from either Athinios port or the Old Port, this cruise will be the most memorable experience of your visit to Santorini island! Board our authentic Brigantine "Thalassa" in the afternoon, and visit places of unparalleled beauty and historical significance! Let’s sail away together!
This unique experience will start by reaching the impressive volcano of Santorini! Our knowledgeable guide will lead you up to the top of the crater, giving you all the useful information about the creation of this impressive site, and welcoming you to feel the wild volcanic atmosphere all around! This hike takes up to 1,5 hours in steep terrain, so make sure that you wear a good pair of shoes, bring a hat for protection from the sun, as well as a bottle of water. Get ready to touch the hot stones and see the volcanic crater on the top of the rim, where smoke rises up! It is fascinating!
After leaving the Volcano, we will set sail for the famous Hot Springs! There, you can experience a different spa on the thermal, full of sulfur waters. Take a dive and feel the warm springs coming from beneath and benefit from the therapeutic effects of the water while setting eyes on the impressive volcanic environment around you. It’s a totally worth it experience! We will stay there for 30 minutes. Please note that in order to reach the church of Agios Nicholaos, it is important to swim extremely well.
Next, we will depart for the beautiful Therasia island, where you will have the chance to take a refreshing dive in the crystal clear waters, while the crew will be preparing a delicious traditional meal for you! Get ready to try the flavorsome Greek appetizers and dishes, accompanied by the famous Santorini white wine. (The wine is provided during dinner time. During the rest of the excursion, it can be purchased separately.)

Last but not least, the famous sunset of Santorini! Set sail for the northern part of the island, near the fishermen’s ports of Ammoudi and Armeni, where you will have the chance to relax and watch the amazing sunset on board! The boat will stop at a nice spot, where you will have a great view of the sun diving into the sea, as well as the picturesque Oia village, which lies above. Santorini volcano sunset cruise
What amazing experience, from start to finish, the views around the island were breathtaking, everything was well organised, the food on-board was excellent.The best part of all was the incredible view of the sunset. We would highly recommend this trip!

The highlight of our trip!
We had a fantastic experience on this boat tour, getting to visit the volcano, two different swimming spots including the hot springs, and watching the sunset from the water! The dinner provided was really tasty, the staff were great fun and even extended our trip by a couple of hours so we could stay on the water to watch the Ifestia fireworks display which was incredible! Highly highly recommend!

What a day!
We booked the Volcano Sunset Cruise on the pirate-style ship, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our trip to Santorini. The boat itself is gorgeous — it really does look like something out of Pirates of the Caribbean — and the crew were warm, funny, and full of interesting stories about the islands and volcano. What a great bunch they were. From start to finish, the trip was perfect. Its actually hard to describe how nice a day it was and do it justice. The scenery and peacefulness of being on the water was a perfect mix. The hike up the volcano was class and the view of the whole caldera was immense. We swam off the boat in the hot springs and in a quite bay which was amazing. That water... crystal clear!!. We had a lovely greek meal which was great, even better when washed down with some wine and a cocktail! And then the highlight: sailing out to watch the sunset. Honestly one of those bucket-list Santorini moments. Would I recommend it? Absolutely — if you’re looking for a lively, beautiful afternoon/evening on the water with a little adventure mixed in, this boat trip had it all.

Once your booking is complete, you will receive the voucher, which includes the meeting point, time and supplier’s contact information, at your email address. You need to have it with you, in paper form or in digital form.
Cancellation
If you cancel at least 2 day(s) in advance of the scheduled date, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled date, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee. Due to unpredictable weather conditions, if the local Authorities prohibit the activity from operating, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to a later date (subject to availability). If you fail to appear at the designated meeting point for the activity, your booking will be considered a no-show, and the full amount will be charged.
Passport or Id
Full names of the passengers (as shown on their passport or id). Passengers need to have onboard with them their passport or id or a copy of them, in case the Port Authority runs a check on the boat. A picture on their mobile will suffice.

Yes, you will hike up to the crater. The hike is about 90 minutes.
It is not difficult. You will walk a path for 45 minutes to reach the crater and then another 45 minutes to return to the boat.
Yes, it is. But do not forget to bring a hat, sunscreen and comfortable shoes with you.
Yes, you can. There is no extra charge, but you will have to carry it in your arms as the path is not suitable for strollers.
Yes, you can take part but you will not able to swim in the hot springs. Instead, on this part of the tour, you will stay on the boat (relax & sunbathe).
Lifejackets are only for an emergency. The crew will provide you with swimming noodles to help you swim. Lifejackets for swimming are only available in some catamaran cruises. Contact us for more info.
Yes, you can. But it will be on your own responsibility as there is no space to store it on the boat.
All boats are fitted with toilets, for the use of guests onboard.
